At Forrester, Steffy and Ridge discuss Hope’s leave of absence. She thinks Hope needs the time away, but warns she’d better have a more pleasant attitude when she gets back.

Ridge says he talked to Hope earlier and tried to convince her that Hope For the Future is a big part of their plans, but she wasn’t buying it. Steffy’s sure she’s not about to give up the line. It won’t be long before she’s back.
Steffy Ridge B&B

Steffy asks Ridge to go solo to the marketing meeting so she can go smooth things over with Hope. Ridge appreciates that and he knows Brooke would too. He tells her she’s doing a great job.

Pinky Promise

At Brooke’s place, Hope tells Deke that they’re alone and free to talk. They marvel about what they’re doing. A fresh start and a new clothing line at Logan. Deke muses about Hope turning her back on Forrester… and her mom.
Deke Hope B&B

Hope admits that walking away from her line at Forrester, and working with her mom, was difficult and emotional, but it’s been made. It’s time for a change. Hope For the Future was a stepping stone to bigger things.

Deke vows he won’t let Hope down. She teases, “I hope you won’t,” and reminds him he can’t say a word to his friends, Electra and Dylan. It’s imperative to keep this a secret.

Shake It Off

At Logan, Katie tells Will that his dad wants to throw a small party to celebrate him coming to Logan. Will gripes about RJ and says he doesn’t want a party. He’s still a little upset about being fired by RJ, who will surely be hitting on Electra every chance he gets. He can try, but they love each other. Electra’s the one for him.

Katie and Will go over how great it’s going to be with him there, but the firing stings. Will is excited about what his mom is building. Everyone knows how Brooke treats her…she thinks she’s the only Logan who deserves the spotlight, but it’s not true. He reminds Katie her sister nearly tore their family apart. Katie says that was a long time ago. Will is thrilled to help his mother succeed. They embrace.

Will thanks Katie for trying to shield him from the hurt and pain of Brooke and Bill. Katie, tearing up of course, recalls him being young, impressionable, and crying. Wait, wasn’t he a baby? Katie was experiencing post-partum… right? Ah, well. Will and Katie shake it off and hug again.

In the Forrester showroom, Dylan lets Electra know that a special order came in for her. Electra guesses it’s the emeralds for the showstopper. Talk turns to Will getting fired and the tension between him and RJ. Dylan found the whole punch thing shocking. Electra thinks it was only a matter of time before he got pushed out given the bad blood.
Dylan B&B

Electra complains about the rug getting pulled out from under her and Will when everything was so perfect. She hopes it won’t affect their home life. Dylan’s sure it will make going home to each other even sweeter.

Oh, the drama! With Will gone, Electra complains that she feels lost. Dylan assures her she has her back. She’ll do whatever she can to help her get through Will being fired.

The Final Scenes

Hope lets Steffy into Brooke’s house and asks her why she’s walking away from Forrester.

In the Forrester showroom, Electra thanks Dylan for her support. She’s happy to have her friend back. Dylan is too. They embrace, and Electra heads out to see Will. Wow, this is a real filler episode.

Once alone, Dylan flashes back to kissing Will.

At Logan, Katie and Will are still going over how they’ll do incredible things there… as a family. The Spencers are getting stronger every day. Will feels a new sense of purpose and drive… to beat RJ. As the music swells, Katie looks forward to the Spencer family’s “insane” next chapter.

The Aurora Theater Massacre: James Holmes and the Question of Insanity

AURORA, Colorado — On a warm summer night in 2012, James Eagan Holmes walked into a crowded movie theater and unleashed hell. Before Gunfire in Colorado Theater, Hints of 'Bad News' About James Holmes - The New York Times

Just after midnight on July 20, 2012, the 24-year-old former neuroscience Ph.D. student, dressed head-to-toe in tactical body armor, entered Theatre 9 at the Century 16 multiplex through an emergency exit. What the audience initially thought was a publicity stunt quickly turned into one of the deadliest mass shootings in modern U.S. history.

Holmes first detonated tear gas canisters, then opened fire with multiple weapons, killing 12 people — including a 6-year-old girl — and wounding 70 others. The attack lasted only minutes but left permanent scars on the nation. Before and After Massacre, Puzzles Line Suspect's Path - The New York Times

What made the case particularly disturbing was the level of premeditation. Holmes had spent months planning the massacre. He rigged his apartment with sophisticated booby traps connected to over 100 liters of gasoline, wired to explode if anyone entered. He purchased weapons, ammunition, and body armor legally. His online searches and notebook entries showed cold, methodical preparation.Remembering the Aurora movie theater shooting victims

After surrendering calmly to police outside the theater, Holmes told officers about the explosives in his apartment, leading to the evacuation of five nearby buildings.

During his trial, Holmes’ defense team argued he was suffering from severe schizophrenia and was legally insane at the time of the shooting. However, prosecutors presented overwhelming evidence of planning and deliberation, arguing that Holmes understood the wrongfulness of his actions. In 2015, a jury rejected the insanity defense and found him guilty on multiple counts of murder.

Instead of receiving the death penalty, Holmes was sentenced to 12 consecutive life sentences without parole plus thousands of years for the attempted murders. He is currently held at the Colorado State Penitentiary’s mental health unit.

More than a decade later, the Aurora theater shooting remains a flashpoint in debates about gun control, mental health treatment, and the insanity defense. While Holmes exhibited clear signs of severe mental illness, the calculated nature of the attack continues to trouble many who question whether someone capable of such detailed planning can truly be considered legally insane.Parents of Colorado theater shooting suspect James Holmes say he's not a monster | Fox 8 Cleveland WJW

The tragedy forever changed the lives of the survivors and the families of the 12 victims. For them, no verdict or sentence can truly bring justice — only the painful memory of a night when a movie theater became a killing field.

At Forrester, Electra tells RJ how much she wishes this situation between him and Will didn’t happen. He assures her it’s not her fault, it’s Will’s.

Electra hates that Will hit RJ, who smirks that the Spencer is insecure, that’s why he punched him. Electra doesn’t defend her boyfriend, but reminds RJ that they’re back together. He questions her judgment, knowing she’s moving in with him too. “I think you’re making a big mistake.” Electra tells RJ he’s handsome and charming but… He finishes, “Will is your first love.” She nods.

Hush Hush

At Brooke’s place, Hope and Deke are discussing her decision to sign on with Logan when Brooke and Ridge come in. Brooke asks what’s going on and Ridge wants to know why Hope took a leave of absence from Forrester. Hope doesn’t think he should be surprised and complains about being strung along. Ridge insists they planned to bring back… but if she’s taking a leave, maybe that’s not what she wants.

Hope jabbers about figuring out what’s next in her life. Ridge points out that Katie left and now look at her…she has a fashion company with no designer or focus.

Welcome Aboard

Will strolls into Logan to greet his parents and updates them on his firing. Bill is absolutely delighted when he explains he punched Ridge and Brooke’s son, RJ. Katie looks horrified.
Will Crew Bill Katie B&B

Katie supports Will, despite not loving that it got physical. Brooke’s son needs to respect Will. Bill grunts that Brooke needs to respect her as well. Will drops the news that Electra is moving in with him. Bill and Katie ooh and ahh… and then start campaigning for Will to come and work with them.

Will entertains the idea, but Bill would have to give him his “asks.” He jokes that he wants a seven-figure salary, a corner office and stop options for starters. Bill reminds him he has a motorcycle and beach house. Turning serious, Will says Electra will be happy for him. Bill asks for confirmation that he’s joining the team. Will loves messing with them, but he’d be proud to work for his family’s company. They welcome him aboard with hugs.

The Final Scenes

In the Forrester showroom, RJ warns Electra that first loves don’t always work out. She shrugs that sometimes they do. RJ smirks that Will is going to assume he’s coming onto her. He won’t, because he respects her too much, but it will be hard knowing he can’t hold her. Electra reminds him he has a fan club of women who would love to date him. He smiles and asks her not to forget how special she is.
RJ Electra B&B

Over at Brooke’s, she and Ridge go on about how awful Logan is until they decide to leave and have lunch with Eric. Once alone, Hope reminds Deke that it has to remain secret that they’ve joined Logan. She reveals that she plans to use her name – Hope Logan – for their new line. She’s so excited for the both of them.

At Logan, Bill lets Will know how much it means to them for him to work there and become the Spencer man he was mean to be. He wants all his boys at the company. Choking up, he says it’s a dream for him. Wiping away tears, Bill credits Katie for making this happen. He tells Will that Katie has a score to settle with Brooke, and he has one with RJ. Nothing will stop them. They all embrace.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Michael’s Plan Could Backfire – Sparking a Shocking Millow Reunion?

Michael’s Plan on General Hospital Could Backfire Spectacularly — and Spark the *Last* Reunion We Expected!

gh willow michael mashup

Michael’s plan is well underway on General Hospital, and the further it gets, the more it’s looking like it might succeed! It hasn’t taken much nudging to get Chase and Willow bonding again, and Brook Lynn is already suspicious of her husband’s ex. She’s also angry enough to warn Willow to stay the hell away from her husband! But that anger may pale in comparison to what Tracy’s going to do when she finds out what’s happening.

We know from spoilers that she’s probably about to catch Chase and Willow getting a little too friendly and give him a piece of her mind. Of course, she’s always been suspicious of “Chillow,” so there’s no surprise there!

But if she finds out what Michael’s been plotting against her granddaughter, orchestrating all these little run-ins and re-meet cutes, she’s going to be furious with him. And the betrayal and surprise is probably going to make it all the worse. Whatever happens to Chase and Brook Lynn, Michael will be deep in the dog house.

Michael meets with Willow GH

So what happens when he becomes persona non grata at the Quartermaine estate? Well, there’s always Willow waiting in the wings! She and Drew are toast — she tried to kill him and has been keeping him paralyzed for months. As for Willow and Chase, whether or not he and BLQ make it, the whole ordeal might finally make him recoil from his ex, especially when he finds out all she’s done!

But you know who probably wouldn’t flinch from everything? Michael! Willow’s been tormenting Drew and that’s something we could see this scheming version of Michael finding quite appealing. The attempted murder might be a bridge too far… but it’s not like Michael didn’t seriously consider it himself.

We’re getting Dark Michael, so is it so hard to imagine sparks flying between him and Dark Willow, two Quartermaine pariahs? Misery loves company and whatever else, they still share kids. There’s got to be some appeal in re-creating a family for them — at least for Willow. With Chase no longer playing white knight, she could be looking for someone else to help.

Maybe at first Michael would feel nothing but contempt for her, but love and hate can both be powerful forces drawing people together, Jacinda or no Jacinda. In other words, while at one point we couldn’t imagine any path towards reunion for “Millow,” now, we’re not so sure!

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Tuesday, June 3 Recap – Tracy Sees Sparks Between Willow and Chase

General Hospital Recap June 3: Sidwell Catches Josslyn, Sonny Corners Pascal, and Tracy Accuses Chase

In today’s General Hospital recap, tensions boil over as Josslyn’s attempt to escape the tunnels is thwarted by Sidwell, while Sonny successfully tracks down a fleeing Pascal. Meanwhile, back at the Q mansion, Tracy misinterprets an intimate conversation between Willow and Chase, leading to a heated accusation.

General Hospital Recap June 3

Michael and Kristina talk about medical school
Michael and Kristina | General Hospital | ABC

At Bobbie’s, Kristina told Michael that she’d gotten into med school and how it all happened. He was amazed and surprised, and very supportive. Kristina worried that she’d lose interest and quit like she’d done many times before. Michael told her that it took guts to realize you aren’t doing what you want in life and to try something else.

Jack Sends Carly and Valentin to Wyndemere

Valentin, Jack, and Carly at Turning Woods
Valentin, Jack, and Carly | General Hospital | ABC

At Turning Woods, Jack repeated that he didn’t know where Josslyn was, and Carly believed him. Jack told them that only Vaughan knew she was an asset and that she could’ve gone into hiding so Cullum wouldn’t find her. Carly didn’t believe Josslyn would leave without saying goodbye and insisted that someone had taken her.

Jack told them to start their search at Wyndermere. When Valentin asked how he would do that, Jack told him to contact “Z” and give him his access code. Valentin snapped that he would arrest him and send him back to Steinmauer, but Jack insisted it was the only way.

Joe’s Investigation Turns Pascal Into a Fugitive

Sidwell and Pascal at Wyndemere
Sidwell and Pascal | General Hospital | ABC

At Wyndermere, Joe told Pascal he wanted to question him about Marco’s murder. Pascal panicked, reminding Sidwell about his loyalty and telling him he would never hurt Marco. Suddenly, the lights went out, and when the generator kicked in a moment later, Pascal was gone.

Sidwell looked around but couldn’t find Pascal so he suggested to Joe that they start looking outside, in the caves, or see if he was already in the tender. Joe thought it would be better to search Pascal’s room and see if there was a clue to where he was headed, even though he’d surprised him and had had no plans to leave moments earlier.

Sidwell was disturbed that Joe found a photo of Marco in Pascal’s drawer. Joe said he was a person of interest, noting that the fact that he ran didn’t make him guilty. Sidwell was beside himself, knowing that it wasn’t a good look for Pascal, and feeling like he’d missed the obvious right in front of him.

Laura and Sonny’s Trap Closes In

Pascal tries to escape and notices Sonny at his window
Pascal | General Hospital | ABC

Laura told Sonny that she couldn’t tolerate any violence, but he assured her that was not the plan when dealing with Pascal. Later, Lucas worried he had overdone it and that the plan would go sideways, but she assured him he had done so and said exactly what was needed.

Laura made a call and found out that Pascal bolted when Fitzgerald showed up to question him, there was an APB on him, and Sidwell was livid.

Pascal made his way to his car, but when he got in it, it wouldn’t start. He pushed the button over and over and panicked. Just then, there was a knock on the window. Sonny held the car cables in his hand as he called out, “Need a lift?”

Josslyn Escapes the Tunnels — And Runs Into Sidwell

Meanwhile, in the tunnels, Josslyn had fiddled with the light until the power went out in the whole building. She didn’t get the door open immediately, but a little while later, she made her escape.

Josslyn made her way to the main floor and peeked in the empty living room before opening the front door. Josslyn stopped in her tracks when, on the other side of the door, Sidwell had his gun pointed at her face as he said, “Who’s a clever girl? Nice try.”

Lucy Encourages Brook Lynn’s Future as a Mother

Brook Lynn and Lucy talk about Chase
Brook Lynn and Lucy | General Hospital | ABC

Lucy came with Brook Lynn and Tracy back to Q mansion. Alone in the living room together, Lucy lamented involving Sidwell with the company, but Brook Lynn said she’d made plenty of mistakes; all she could do was look towards the future and do better. Lucy said she could see she was already Phoebe’s mom.

When Brook Lynn raved about Chase, Lucy said how great it was that she could forgive him for throwing his career away for Willow. Brook Lynn said she didn’t agree with what Chase did, but she could understand why he did it. She said that all the Q’s, as a family, had put it behind them and moved on.

Tracy Sees Sparks Between Willow and Chase

Willow and Chase by the pool
Willow and Chase | General Hospital | ABC

At the lake, Willow and Chase hung out and talked, and he mentioned that one day he’d write the exam to be a detective again. In the meantime, he appreciated the hours to be around for Phoebe. Willow suggested that there could be a role for him working for her in Congress.

Willow touted the position, telling Chase that he wouldn’t have to put his life on the line, and for Phoebe’s sake, she could count on her dad being safe and coming home every day. Chase wondered why it was so important to Willow, just as Tracy walked up and saw them talking, so she hid behind the lake house and eavesdropped.

Willow told Chase that he was a true friend that she could count on, as he had been with her every step of the way for the past year. She said she only wanted the best for her, and he said the same. Willow grabbed her stuff and left but told him to call her to talk more about the job. Once he was alone, Tracy walked up and told Chase that he had cheated on her granddaughter for the very last time.
